The Project:
This was the first of four workflows (create, edit, close/revive and featured) built to allow non-technical users to manage website content directly from their regular Monday work environment by simply filling out an embedded Jotform. This initial Make automation creates and publishes a new landing page with a cropped and optimized featured image and a fully customized form on the page in less than five minutes.
The Tools:
- Make
- Monday and Monday CRM
- Jotform
- WordPress
- Cloudinary
- Kinsta
- Advanced Custom Fields
- CPT UI
- FIFU
- Postmark
- Code Snippets/PHP
The Solution:
THE CREATE FORM
The requestor fills out a detailed form with all the required information for their page that triggers the scenario. This includes:
- Page Title (h1)
- Excerpt
- SEO Title and Description
- Featured Image
- Image alt text
- Body Copy/Content
- Form Questions
- State(s) Location
- Category
- CRM Specific Fields to tie in form submissions
THE CUSTOM INTAKE FORM
Once started, the custom intake form is generated by cloning an existing template form that contains all the properly formatted evergreen fields, like name, address, phone, and all the hidden necessary CMS fields.
PAGE CREATION
A custom post is generated with all the provided information.
IMAGE OPTIMIZATION
The provided featured image sent to Cloudinary to auto-crop to a golden-rectangle composition and optimize file size. The featured image URL is then added to the FIFU module.
HIDDEN FIELDS POPULATED
All the fields to connect to Monday and Monday CRM are completed.
QUESTIONS ADDED
All the requested custom questions (up to 10) are added to the form.
The Result:
Before this system, the process involved a custom built Power Automate system and HubSpot for the form. However, that system could never bridge the gap to make pages live with custom form questions and required an IT employee to monitor incoming requests, manually add the questions to HubSpot, then manually publish the post. This solution delivered a complete, end-to-end answer within minutes — no human middle-man required.
